About Mateusz

Mateusz z Płokca has been a member of SCA for over 25 years. He resides in the great Barony of Dragons' Laire, in the Kingdom of An Tir.

    Over the years, he has officially served Dragons' Laire as Arts and Sciences Champion (twice), Seneschal, Spirit Makers Guild head, Commander of Lights, Baronial Constable and currently holds the post of  A&S Minister.  In addition he has organized several events including May Crown and Junefaire.

For nearly fifteen years his workshop has been a popular attraction at our annual Junefaire where he demonstrates a variety of wood working techniques including white coopering. At Left in the workshop Junefaire 2005

       Mateusz's awards include of an Award of Arms, Companion of the orders of the Goute de Sang, and Jambe de Lion  and the Kingdom Constabulary Award. And on the Baronial level, Member of the Orders of The Wyvern and  The Dragon's Pearl, The Bumblebee and Snapdragon,  Dragon's Flame,  Mano Minos, Dragon's Lily, and the Argent Pavilion
